  • Has extensive experience in direct investment having worked for Lehman Brothers’ Private EquityDivision, 3i and Gimv both in London and Munich
  • Was a member of the Gimv executive committee and acted as a managing partner, where he led a team of 10+ investors and managed a portfolio of €250m+ NAV; opened and built Gimv’s presence in Munich and its presence in Germany
  • Worked on a broad spectrum of asset classes from early venture transactions to mid-market buy-outs
  • Started his career as a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group
  • Received a Dipl. Ing. in Electrical Engineering from the the Karlsruher Institut of Technology, a PhD in robotics and automatic control from the University of Strasbourg and an MBA from INSEAD

  • Has many years of investment experience at Apax Partners and Adxia Capital Partners, based out of London and Munich
  • Worked on a wide range of venture, growth  and buyout transactions backing disruptive technology-driven businesses and represented these companies through numerous board and observer seats
  • Prior to his investment career, he worked in strategy consulting with Analysys, advising startups through to incumbents in the telecoms and wireless sectors
  • Received a Master Degree of Engineering from Oxford University; post-graduation, worked as a digital engineer at ARM
